He made his first recordings as a member of the Ron-Dels and was noted for his distinctive harmonica  work on Bruce Channel's 1962 hit "Hey! Baby."    This is a recording of Delbert McClinton with band in concert as part of the seventh anniversary celebrations for Austin, Texas radio station KGSR.   The event took place on December 5th 1997 and also included sets from Abra Moore, Steve Earle, and special guests Robert Earl Keen and Patty Griffin.
