oh!no?ok - Café Spice - Jess Knights - Rett Smith

Image
Making their fourth appearance here in under a year oh!no?ok are back with another classy alt rocker entitled 'Firemouth'. === We featured Café Spice twice last year and they are back with 'She Loves And Leaves' where they shift genres towards indie pop doing so with grace and quality. === We were introduced to Jess Knights back in January and the new song 'Baby Won't You Stay' sees the artist serving up some gorgeous and timeless soul vibes. === And we have to go back a whole ten days since Rett Smith was last here, the quick follow up 'Luck Burns Deep,' is a potent stomping rocker, the video is pretty cool as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ oh!no?ok - Firemouth. oh!no?ok. is comprised of high school friends Ryan Osborn, Cole Miller, Jackson Ludlow, and local guitarist Nick Storey. The band is a year old, and has been working closely with locally-renowned producer Nate Pyfer

Lucy & La Mer - Mappe Of - Emily Breeze - Café Spice

Image
Lucy & La Mer has shared an upbeat video for 'Discover'. Oozing positive and feel good vibes this indie pop song is an absolute charm. Canadian avant-garde folk artist, Mappe Of (a moniker for Tom Meikle) has just released a wonderful song entitled 'Unkno'. It's something of a folk epic as Tom's superb vocals and a clever, intriguing musical background garner immediate attention. Our third feature this year for Emily Breeze is for her latest single 'Heaven's Gate'. Described as "a glacial slice of Sci-Fi propaganda" (see more below) the songs musical arrangement conveys other worldly notions, Emily's vocals are once again impressive as they drive the piece forward. Café Spice return here for a second occasion with their brand new single 'Open Door'. Once again the beautiful vocals and exquisite harmonies are simply wonderful, this trio are most certainly on my must hear music list.  --------------------------------

Loaver shares a dreamy dark pop song that is beautifully atmospheric and irresistible. Lauren Hibberd makes her fifth appearance on Beehive Candy as the Isle Of Wight artist once again impresses us with a fabulous alt rocker. With the first posthumous album for JJ Cale due in April we have the first track and a really fine video accompaniment for one of musics true legends. Cafe Spice treat us to a mixture of gorgeous vocals & harmonies above a simple and beautifully matched musical backdrop. Loaver - Out Of Town. Malmö, Sweden, based singer-songwriter Linnea Hall started her solo project Loaver with a desire to be able to showcase all sides of her experiences and inspirations. The music that will be released as Loaver’s debut EP - experimental, smooth and dark pop at its finest - was written and recorded in Italy during 2017, in close collaboration with artists such as Giovanni Ferrario (PJ Harvey, John Parish etc.), who produced the tracks, and Emanuele Maniscalco.
