The Bernadette Maries - The Closer You Look.
Between post-punk excitement and a tormented psyche, The Bernadette Maries crafts here an introspective piece, tinged with shoegaze and dream pop influences (DIIV, Fontaines D.C., Cocteau Twins & The Stone Roses in the lead). With melancholy and dreamy eyes, "The Closer You Look" announces a bright future to the band with the release of their first album in 2026 on Géographie.
The Bernadette Maries is a band formed in 2024 in Brussels, Belgium and composed of Guy, Daria, Romain, and David. The band skillfully blends the energy of post-punk, the sonic textures of shoegaze, and the melodic structures of indie rock.
TBM's music speaks of love and existentialism, melancholy, and the meaning of our lives in a world that is slowly collapsing. It draws inspiration not only from music but also from society, books, and film.

3 Days of Wonder - Anyone Who Knows.
Opening with a wall of distorted guitars and driving drums, the track immediately establishes the high-octane energy that defines the band's sound. In the verse, a melancholic wash of emotional sincerity emerges through elegantly picked guitars and heartfelt vocal delivery, gradually building momentum before exploding into a yearning, driven chorus.
As the track unfolds, it swells into a cinematic middle eight, before closing with a climactic final iteration of the emotionally resonant, ear worm chorus.
Speaking about the track, the band explain: "This song is about the destructive streak we all have in our personalities. Recognising it, managing it and even loving it as part of you. Sometimes it wins and you have the car crash. The ride might be fun but the aftermath is not. Even so, it won’t hurt forever! It was a cathartic time as it felt like the big-brother of a song we had written in 2023 called Younger Days”

Alex Hellcat - Kids From Broken Homes.
Alex Hellcat is a german artist with passion for doing things his way. His musical style stretches in many directions like a spiderweb. Influenced by punk, ska, reggae and rap, Alex songs are about freedom, old horror flicks and things that keep him awake at night.
The multitalent records every instrument himself since he's a one man crew. Grade 2 said: "Vocally it reminds me of Left Alone who I am a big fan of. Great sound!"
His latest single “Kids From Broken Homes” breaks genre lines again — a reggaeton/dancehall driven anthem infused with emotion and attitude like Rancid would bring. It’s about growing up without roots, fighting for identity, and finding strength in your scars.

Chelsea King - The Rabbit Hole.
Rising alt-rock artist Chelsea King invites listeners into a darker, emotional labyrinth with her newest single, “The Rabbit Hole,” a gripping exploration of internal battle, personal transformation, and surrendering to the unknown.
Best known for her powerful anthems of feminine rage, bold storytelling, and raw vocal edge, King pushes further into the shadows with “The Rabbit Hole,” delivering an intoxicating and cinematic new chapter in her signature sound. The track pairs eerie lyricism with chillingly atmospheric production, creating a world where beauty, chaos, and curiosity collide.
Recorded at Pentavarit Studios, the track features drum legend Atom Willard (Alkaline Trio, Angels & Airwaves) and Nathan Keeterle on guitar. The song was produced by Jackson Eppley and mixed and mastered by Bobby Holland, bringing King’s signature bubble-grunge sound to life—a lush, cinematic fusion of dreamy pop textures and raw rock energy.
“This song is about being afraid to evolve, but finding someone who sees every version of you and says, ‘Let’s go anyway,’” says King. “It’s about falling down the spiritual rabbit hole together—through the good, the bad, and the beautifully strange.”

Langhorne Slim - On Fire.
Trailblazing singer/songwriter Langhorne Slim has released the official video for his latest single “On Fire” off his forthcoming album The Dreamin’ Kind, due out January 16th through Dualtone Records. Bursting with Motown influences and soulful strut, “On Fire” sets the stage for an Elvis-tinged, Risky Business-inspired late-night closing shift at the local dive.
“I wrote ‘On Fire’ one morning after listening to an old reggae record put out by the mighty Mississippi Records,” stated Slim. “I was stoked to record it with the boys, but knew it needed something extra so I called the Queen: Jess Wolfe. I’d been wanting to work with her for a long time and though she was a fully pregnant goddess, she said she’d be there. She laid down an orchestra of background vocals in about an hour and made the song slap.”
“On Fire” follows the release of the propulsive, electrifying “Rock N Roll,” and “Haunted Man,” a hard-rocking juggernaut accompanied by a spooky, fog-filled video featuring guest appearances by Greta Van Fleet members Sam F. Kiszka and Daniel Wagner. Slim also recently shared the banjo-driven roots anthem “Dream Come True,” whose raw tangle of acoustic instruments gives way to a gorgeous, swelling crescendo.
The Dreamin’ Kind is Langhorne Slim’s ninth studio album and finds the Pennsylvania-born, Nashville-based artist strapping on an electric guitar and embracing his longtime love of larger-than-life rock & roll. The album was produced by Greta Van Fleet’s Sam F. Kiszka, who also plays across the album alongside his bandmate Daniel Wagner.

Sunday Morning - Carry the Sky.
Vancouver’s Sunday Morning return with their most radio ready and emotionally resonant single to date, “Carry the Sky,” a sweeping tribute to love, loss, and the weight of memory that never fully lifts. The project, led by frontman Bruce Wilson, has long navigated a space between poetic storytelling and cathartic art rock, drawing comparisons to David Bowie, Nick Cave, and Iggy Pop, yet this track brings a newfound immediacy and accessibility to Wilson’s singular voice. “Sunday Morning has always been a very personal project and the subject matter of the songs come from my direct experiences though they’re often masked in allegory and poetic license,” says Wilson.
“‘Carry the Sky’ differs from previous songs because it is, at its essence, a tribute to two beautiful people I loved dearly who died and left intangible chasms in my life that will never be filled.” He wrote the soaring chorus after losing his close friend Christian, and the verses after the death of his sister Juliet soon after. The result is a song that faces grief honestly while refusing to drown in it. “I didn’t want this song to be stuck in my grief but to have a sense of celebration for these two lives who brought so much love, compassion and wisdom into my life.”
Sunday Morning is the brainchild of Vancouver music scene stalwart Bruce Wilson. His prolific art and music career took shape in New York and Detroit after his drug and alcohol fueled grunge punk band Tankhog imploded in Vancouver in the late 90s. Years of addiction, lost time, and eventual recovery would reshape his entire creative voice. Returning to Vancouver, Wilson cloistered himself away in a tiny room at the historic Waldorf Hotel to rebuild through writing, an effort that evolved into Sunday Morning’s acclaimed 2016 debut.
